Holiday Gift Guide: For Him 2018
I know I’m not alone when I say the men in my life are definitely the hardest to shop for (especially grandfathers)! Here’s a list of items for all the men in your life, listed in a range of prices and themes — enjoy!
Wusthof Classic Chef’s Knife ~ $59 – $160
For the man who hasn’t discovered the beauty of having a super awesome chef’s knife… my hubs even takes this with us on trips. He cannot live with a dull knife See also: the amazing tomato knife for cutting fruits and vegetables with skin.
Birkenstock ‘Essentials’ Waterproof Slide Sandal ~ $40
My husband, who is anti-Birks, purchased these last year and loves them. They’re perfect for a sunny getaway this winter – or for throwing in a ski backpack for aprés.
Zenware Himalayan Block Cooking Salt Plate ~ $35
For the BBQ’er, this salt block is awesome to cook with – it adds amazing extra flavors to your food. Yes, you can cook directly on your stovetop or grill, then use the holder to safely transport the block to your table. Whether hot or cold, it will maintain its temperature effectively (up to 500°F). *NOT recommended for use in oven.
Nintendo Entertainment System Classic NES Edition ~ $60
Calling all children of the 80s/90s… let’s be honest – I should really just put this on my list because I’ll kick anyone’s ass in Duck Hunt or Super Mario. The kids will be begging to share it, teehee.
Inward: Yung Peublo ~ $12
This highly-rated book is a gold mine of reflective tidbits that will lift his spirits during the cold winter ahead.
Nike Epic React Flyknit Running Shoe ~ $150
My husband is a big fan of this Nike shoe. The technology is amazing – so much comfort and spring in this foam sole – and they look great with a pair of jeans or casual slacks.
Good Man Brand Slim Fit Henley ~ $98
I love this brand and style. Perfect for bumming around on the weekend. *Fits slim
Calpak 5-Piece Packing Cube Set ~ $48
I bought myself a set of these earlier this year – a traveling game changer! Store your electronics and toiletries separately from your other packables. I could see my man loving the black marble set.
Apple AirPods ~ $160
I love my airpods so much. Pricey, but SO worth it. They use optical sensors and a motion accelerometer to detect when they’re in your ears (they play as soon as you put them in your ears and pause when you take them out). When you’re on a call or talking to Siri, they filter out background noise and focus the sound of your voice. Perfect for any guy who loves his iPhone .
YETI Roadie Cooler ~ $200
I have heard so many dudes talking about these coolers this year. Perfect for the tailgater, fisherman, beach-goer…endless uses!
The Original Bear Paws Shredder Claws ~ $13
For the man who loves his meat, I bring you my favorite gift of the year: Bear Claws. Use these puppies to lift awkward chunks of meat, shred BBQ, pulled pork, etc., and handle very hot pans. I gave these to my hubs for Father’s Day and he uses them all the time.
Magnetic Wristband ~ $9
My FIL is a contractor – I could see this wristband being his BFF while on the job. Ideal size for a stocking stuffer
Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme Cologne ~ $72
This is my favorite men’s fragrance, hands down! (So…more a gift for you than for hubby…just ‘sayin )
Holy Stone HS200 Drone with HD WiFi Camera ~ $100
I asked my brother-in-law what guys want for gifts and he said, “men want drones and 3D printers.” So without further ado, I present to you my must-have guy-gift #1.
Nordstrom Men’s Jogger PJ Pants ~ $50
My hub doesn’t like the wide hem on most pajama pants or the shirts in most sets. This is a great PJ pant because it’s a jogger fit that can be paired with any t-shirt.
Ring Video Doorbell ~ $200
For all the dudes who are into home security… I am just glad it wasn’t available when I was in high school and was “home by 11pm”… wink wink.
And there you have it. I hope you found something for your men – or found the inspiration you needed to shop. Sometimes, that’s all it takes!
Happy Holidays ~ Kristen
